The International Study Centre (ISC) provides you with a pathway to a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU).

You will improve your English language skills and gain confidence in communicating with other students and your teachers. Having high level of English language skills will give you the opportunity to succeed in your university studies and future career.


You will study subjects that focus on the academic area most useful to your chosen degree. Familiarising yourself with relevant subjects can make you more confident, and your transition into university life a lot easier.


You will be introduced to the style of teaching that you will experience when you progress onto your degree course. This means that you can study more efficiently, learn quicker and have a greater chance to succeed in your studies.


You will be fully supported throughout your studies. Class sizes at the ISC are small, making it easier for you to ask questions and receive individual attention from your teachers. This means you have an opportunity to reach your full potential.
