About The Institute

Your most effective pathway to the University of Western Australia (UWA) is via the University of Western Australia Foundation Program (UWAFP).

UWAFP students are guaranteed entry to UWA if they meet the requirements at the end of the program.

In 2014 90% of our students received offers from UWA and each year nearly 100% receive an offer from a tertiary institution.

The combined educational expertise of UWA and Taylors College has been used to create UWAFP – providing you with an ideal academic stepping stone into university-level studies. We offer a range of start dates throughout the year to suit your timing, academic level and planned university degree.

As a UWAFP student you will have access to UWA resources and facilities, including the library, Student Guild and clubs and societies.

UWAFP offers a flexible unit-based course structure. You can choose new units to study each term and build a program that is more suited towards your university and career goals.

When studying UWAFP, you will learn how to study independently, work in groups, become leaders, conduct research and deliver presentations – all the skills necessary for success at university.
